Just posted this in the wrong forum, and moved here:

Just made a few bucks on gold, but if I'm honest, it had the element of a 'punt' about it - are there any decent strategies out there so that I can place 'more informed' trades?

Any help out there?

There's loads of them, although - no guarantees - do your homework - and some paper trading
