Finexo Review – Forex

Finexo

Finexo have ben trading since 2003, which in this game makes them an established player, and implies that they must be doing something right to keep their clientele in what is an extremely competitive business. They are a Forex only outfit which if you are serious about trading currencies, then it’s best to go with a forex dedicated broker (if you need live chat help on some of the generic trading sites you can hear literally hear the hairs on the back of the supports neck rustling as they struggle to find the right trading manual).

Finexo have opted for a Java based online interface which although not as sleek as a Flash interface is nevertheless a better option. At first sight the software is a bit clumsy looking and very busy, but, it’s fully customisable. Windows are resizable, drag-able, and closable. So, if you are sticking to a couple of currency pairs, that’s all that you need to see – just close the others.

Streaming financial news is fed into the software which is always a bonus – as log as you fully understand news implications before placing your trade and selecting options.

To use the fully array of trading options such as trailing stops, and OCOs, you will need to place an order, these options are not available with their ‘quick trade’ function. That is fairly standard across the majority of Forex platforms with the exception of Etoro. But, the important thing is that there a wide range of trade options available which although a bit bewildering for the beginner, are essential for the more experienced trader or anyone developing their own trading methods.

Mobile phone trading is available, which is good news, but if you do opt for this, this is the one time that you need to seriously check your phone’s compatibility, and remember not to open any fiendishly large trade sets while on your way for a weekend ‘out in the bush’.

One reported downside is the lengthy withdrawal process, however, we have not heard the standard occasional “they refused to give my money back” complaints that pepper forums concerning other brokers (whether they are true or not! – usually these complaints shouldn’t be taken on face value anyway, unless the there is sufficient volume of complaint regarding a single broker to warrant serious cause for concern.)

It would appear that Finexo have survived with good reason; their spreads are good, all the essential trading options are there, and more, and once you’ve got your head around window arrangement, the screen is yours!
